Before it became THE MONK, it was someone’s home.

The first faces you see are three generations of the family who once lived within these walls.

As you continue, you will discover the icon corner, a sewing machine that still works, an old oil lamp, and treasured objects that have remained part of the house through the years.

When THE MONK was created, we chose not to erase the past, but to let it become part of its future.

Today, guests from around the world create new memories here, while living among those that came before.

What began as an old island house became a place of stillness, light and belonging.

Created with care, respect for heritage, and a deep connection to the spirit of Leros, THE MONK continues its journey as a living house shaped by those who imagine it, create it and experience it.

This recognition belongs to everyone who helped bring THE MONK to life.
