The Battle of Methoni on April 30, 1825, was a naval engagement during the Greek War of Independence. The squadron of the Hydra fleet, led by Admiral Andreas Miaoulis along with captains Kriezis and Belebini, attacked the Turkish-Egyptian fleet anchored in Methoni.

This battle is commemorated annually on April 30 in Methoni, honoring the courage of the Greek forces. A monument dedicated to this victory was erected in 2018.
