- 1753. Daniel Phillipidis, scolar was born at the Fountainhead Historic Chalet. Influenced by the European Enlightenment movement he envisioned a liberated village and a country with well-educated people. He traveled around the world translationg in Greek books of science and philosophy. He is distinguished for his geographical and historical essays. His manuscripts are kept at Milies Library. Argyris Philippidis, Mayor of Milies,
lived with his family at the Fountainhead.
- 1903 he was responsible forthe extension of the railway track until Milies. His initiative resulted in Milies becoming the center of Pelion region while the village flourished financially. Helen-Fay Stamati and her husband Kostas Stamatis, architect, restored the Fountainhead after being burnt down by the Germans. Their vision was to present the history, traditional and cultural life of the village.
- 1982 She creates a Collection and organizes relevant activities for the visitors.
-1987 she donates the material and know-how to the Municipality in order to create the Milies local Museum

Πώς συνδέονται το τρενάκι 🚂και το Milies Historic Chalet Pelion❓️

Η επέκταση 🚂της σιδηροδρομικής γραμμής από τον Βόλο στις Μηλιές πραγματοποιήθηκε χάρη στην υποστήριξη του Δημάρχου Μηλεών το 1903

Ο ίδιος έμενε σε αυτό το σπίτι 🏠 με τη σύζυγό του Μαρία και τα επτά παιδιά τους.

Το 2018, η δισεγγονή του Εύα Σταμάτη μετέτρεψε το σπίτι σε ξενώνα και προς χάριν της ιστορίας τον ονόμασε
