Today, we honor the memory of our beloved father and grandfather, Ioannis Kanales (“Kalampakas”), the founder of our family business, who is no longer with us.
Born in Paros in 1938, he later moved to Athens, where he built his path in construction through dedication, resilience and hard work, always doing his best for his family. Known for his generosity, he was always there for those around him. In 1991, he laid the foundations of what would become not just a hotel, but a place of warmth, hospitality and genuine care. His values and stories will continue to guide us every day.
We are deeply grateful for everything he created and for the legacy he leaves behind.
He will always be part of our hearts and our story.

Σήμερα τιμούμε τη μνήμη του αγαπημένου μας πατέρα και παππού, Ιωάννη Κανάλε («Καλαμπάκα»), ιδρυτή της οικογενειακής μας επιχείρησης, που δεν βρίσκεται πια κοντά μας.
Γεννήθηκε στην Πάρο το 1938 και αργότερα μετακόμισε στην Αθήνα, όπου χάραξε τη δική του πορεία στον κατασκευαστικό κλάδο με αφοσίωση, επιμονή και σκληρή δουλειά, προσπαθώντας πάντα για το καλύτερο για την οικογένειά του. Γνωστός για τη γενναιοδωρία του, ήταν πάντα δίπλα σε όσους τον χρειάζονταν. Το 1991 έθεσε τα θεμέλια για κάτι που εξελίχθηκε όχι απλώς σε ένα ξενοδοχείο, αλλά σε έναν χώρο φιλοξενίας με ζεστασιά και φροντίδα. Οι αξίες και οι ιστορίες του θα συνεχίσουν να μας καθοδηγούν.
Είμαστε βαθιά ευγνώμονες για όσα δημιούργησε και για την παρακαταθήκη που αφήνει πίσω του.
Θα αποτελεί για πάντα μέρος της καρδιάς και της ιστορίας μας.
