Our family owned villa is located in the hillside of the village Nea Anchialos and only 6 km from the airport. It is a seaside city built on the northwest coast of the Pagasetic Gulf near ancient Pyrasos, which was the port of "brilliant" Fthiotides ancient city of Thebes. Known today for its archaeological sites with the extensive ruins of the city "Thebes" of the early Christian period, for its

beautiful and tranquil beaches, traditional wine festival and the airport. Just a ten minute walk the village offers everything you may need. The beautiful port with its many restaurants with very good home-cooked dishes and cafes, the beach road full of pubs and bars and the main street with lots of shops along with the traditional tsipouro. The ancient Theves, is also a ten minute walk from Villa Pyxida. There is a lot of historical monuments where you can see how people once lived. Right next to the museum are some sandy clean public beaches. Volos is located north of Nea Anchialos, only 17 km from the villa. It is a modern port city with a rich cultural life, interesting nightlife, distinctive local cuisine (tsipouro). Pelion right next to Volos, is a place blessed by the gods, a magic mountain, full of mystery and beauty. Myths and traditions have tried to describe it. Stone houses, cobbled fountain painted by the greenery of the mountain, dew on each sheet. Ski resort with slopes for winter sports activities such as horse riding, mountain hiking, train of Pelion, nightlife and gastronomy make the area a favorite destination. The area of Volos and Pelion is endowed with the characteristics of all those who emerge as basic choices for Greek and foreign visitors for holidays or short excursions. The place can be reached by any bus, going to Nea Anchialos. From the city it is only a 5 minute cab ride or a 15 minute walk. There is also a local bus going from Nea Anchialos to Volos, which makes a stop only 50 meters away from our Villa.

General information

Located just 17 km outside of the city of Volos, you can find one of the finest private villas with a real architecture touch in Nea Anchialos, right next to the beach. For moments of serenity and privacy offering stunning views of the Pagasetic Gulf, which is formed by the Mountain Pelion peninsula. A small organic garden provides fresh products on a daily basis and is located next to the premises. The garden produces a variety of vegetables (cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers) and fruits (cherries, apricots, pomegranate). In addition, almond trees and olive trees (of which the olives are used to make extra virgin olive oil) are grown. Three hundred meters down the road, Villa Pyxida guests have access to a wonderful beachfront land. It offers a unique nature, with many bays, crystal clear waters and a traditional village with remarkable beauty. It combines mountain and sea, peace and nightlife, ancient history and modern life.
