Theodor Apartments is a small family run business, situated in on the best beach in Olympic part of the Aegean sea, Nei Pori (Néoi Póroi). The villa is situated in a very nice and quite part of the resort near the Orthodox church, just 3 minutes walking distance from the beautiful Nei Pori (Néoi Póroi) golden sand beach. There are many supermarkets, restaurants, tavernas, coffee shops next to the

villa. The beautiful villa with garden, has one studio, a two bedroom apartment and an one bedroom apartment, suitable for couples, singles and families (with children). All apartments have fully equipped kitchens, en suite bathroom, flat tv's in all rooms, air conditioners, balconies with garden view and free wi-fi.

The Platamon Castle, an important part of the history of Pieria, is a Crusader castle (built between 1204 and 1222) and is located southeast of Mount Olympus, in a strategic position which controls the exit of the Tempe valley, through which passes the main road connecting Macedonia with Thessaly and southern Greece.The tower (donjon), which overlooks the highway, is an imposing medieval fortress.

Important discoveries are the board of Hellenistic wall, that confirm the suggestion that on this position was the ancient Greek city Herakleion and the gate in the wall of the donjon. The core of the city Herakleion remains to be found, but it is posited that it is located on the northwest side of the castle's hill due to shells and coins found during recent excavations.

Nei Pori in December is cool and damp, marking the winter season with average highs around 12°C and lows near 7°C, plenty of rain (often the wettest month), and fewer crowds, making it ideal for exploring nearby Mount Olympus and ancient sites like Dion if you enjoy cooler weather and low-season travel, but not for beach holidays.
