Aγαπητοί μας πελάτες.
Πέρασαν 50 ολόκληρα χρόνια από τότε που ο Βασίλης και η Τούλα, οι γονείς μας, έκαναν το μεγάλο βήμα και άνοιξαν την ταβέρνα στο κέντρο της Ανθούσας που έμελλε να γίνει συνώνυμη με την ποιότητα και την φιλοξενία. Χιλιάδες πελάτες, που έγιναν φίλοι, σερβιρίστηκαν στα τραπέζια της αυλής από τα χέρια του Βασίλη και χιλιάδες τα χαμόγελα απόλαυσης από τις νοστιμιές της Τούλας με τα μπιφτέκια, τα συκωτάκια, τα μαγειρευτά της να γίνονται ανάρπαστα από την πρώτη μέρα λειτουργίας του εστιατορίου. Οι πιο παλιοί θα θυμούνται την γιαγιά μας, την Φωτεινή, να καθαρίζει πατάτες και τον παππού μας, τον Παναγιώτη, να αναλαμβάνει το παρκάρισμα των πολυάριθμων αυτοκινήτων που κατέφθαναν ταυτόχρονα (ομολογούμε ότι ακόμα δεν έχουμε καταλάβει πώς κατάφερνε τόσα αυτοκίνητα να τα βολέψει).
Αργότερα, από την εφηβία μας κιόλας, αισθανθήκαμε χρέος να βοηθήσουμε τους γονείς μας και σε λίγο καιρό ήμασταν σε θέση να αναλάβουμε όλα τα πόστα της επιχείρησης ( εκτός βέβαια από την κουζίνα που πάντα αποτελούσε "άβατο" για τα μέλη της οικογένειας αλλά όχι όμως για τους πελάτες που μπορούσαν ανά πάσα στιγμή να δουν την Τούλα την ώρα της δημιουργίας).
Στο εστιατόριό μας βρίσκονταν πάντα τα πιο αγνά, ντόπια κρέατα και λαχανικά και τα μπιφτέκια απέκτησαν τίτλο: τα "μπιφτέκια της Ευτυχίας" (σωστά καταλάβατε: το όνομα Τούλα βγαίνει από την Ευτυχία)
Η δουλειά πήγαινε και εξακολουθεί να πηγαίνει περίφημα. Η ταβέρνα μεγάλωσε, γιγαντώθηκε και εκσυγχρονίστηκε, το προσωπικό αυξήθηκε ώσπου...
Ώσπου τα χρόνια πέρασαν. Ο Βασίλης και η Τούλα έπαψαν να είναι νέοι και παρόλο που χαίρουν άκρας υγείας, πήραν την απόφαση να κάνουν το δεύτερο μεγάλο βήμα τους: να απολαύσουν τα συντάξιμα, πλέον, χρόνια τους δίπλα στα παιδιά και στα εγγόνια τους. Εμείς, επιφορτισμένες με την σωστή λειτουργία του ξενοδοχείου δεν είμαστε σε θέση να αναλάβουμε και το εστιατόριο κρατώντας ταυτόχρονα την απαράμιλλη ποιότητα που υπήρχε όλα αυτά τα χρόνια.
Η ταβέρνα " Βασίλης" λοιπόν, συμπλήρωσε τον κύκλο της και θα θέλαμε να ευχαριστήσουμε μέσα από την καρδιά μας εσάς, τους αγαπημένους μας πελάτες, τους ικανότατους συνεργάτες μας, τους προμηθευτές και την τοπική κοινωνία για την στήριξη, την προτίμηση και την αγάπη σας όλα αυτά τα χρόνια.
Τα χαμόγελά σας ήταν η καλύτερη ανταμοιβή και η κατ ' εξακολούθηση επίσκεψή σας η καλύτερη αναγνώριση της δουλειάς μας αυτά τα 50 χρόνια λειτουργίας της.
