The hotel is conveniently located in the town center, so everything you need is in a walking distance from shops, cafes, restaurants and beaches to port. Walking down from the hotel towards the center of Parikia, you pass firstly from the Archaeological museum. There you can see many artifacts of great interest which are worthwhile visiting. Then you can see the renowned Church of One Hundred Doors ‘’Ekatontapiliani’’. The narrow graphic streets of Parikia begin there. Local shops and cafes, laying on these streets giving a unique sensation, are open from day to night at summer time to fulfill your needs. From the port you can take a small boat to visit the beaches across the bay called Krios and Martcello. Livadia beach is within the walking distance of 400m. There are many other villages and beaches on the island worth visiting. The island has a regular bus service, all buses leave from the port. Hotel Doukissa is available from May to October.
