Today, our plea comes from our hearts and souls. Both the wonderful Yvonne Wildeboer-Meijers and I, Keran Sullivan, are very proud of how far we’ve come with Patouses Greece. However, the reality is that we could achieve much more with additional resources and donations.
Our Facebook and Instagram pages are doing well. We’re gaining followers, and the feedback we receive is 💯 positive. We know that our supporters love what we do; they can see the impact we’re making, especially in areas where there has previously been little to no support. But we believe we can do even more; between the two platforms, we have over 4155 followers. It’s not a huge number, but it’s quite good for a couple of retirees who are passionate about animals.
We will not and cannot dismiss the amazing support we already receive from our ardent followers and friends, but often we think that if every one of our other followers could only afford one euro each, we would have, on a monthly basis, 4,155€...
Imagine the impact... you would see the landscape change. No longer would we be firefighting emergencies. The rescue community knowing that sterilisation has been carried out, could plan, they could conduct basic health checks and feed, knowing that the animals would be thriving rather than suffering.
We’ve tried to enrol in “Teaming,” whereby you can donate one euro per month, but they cannot currently accept more subscribers; they are at full capacity. However, both Paypal and Donorbox will accept smaller recurring donations, which would help our cause tremendously. Please consider it; we’re not asking anyone to give more than they can afford, but it only takes one euro, which is twelve euros a year, to make a significant difference. Join us in our fight against suffering. We can and will make a real impact… an impact that is meaningful 🙏🙏🫶🏽🐾🐈🐕
