We went out in search of a house in the Old Town with the intention of turning it into a hotel. During that process, we fell in love with this house, its history and its people. While restoring the house, we respected its character and idiosyncrasies: the creeks of the wooden floor boards, the smell of the lime plaster, the roughness of its stones. We took care of the ageing mulberry tree in the g
arden and planted aromatic plants and herds, which the housewives who once lived here used to use. Our intention has been to make a small hotel for just a few, select guests. To provide them with as much attention and care as they desire. To have a variety of pillows for them to chose from, food prepared just for them and carefully selected wines to go with it. The furniture, lighting, objects and carpets give every space a warm, familiar atmosphere. Luxury has been balanced with simplicity and modern design matched with old collectable items. We want our guests to find themselves in the house they wished they had. To enjoy every day spent with us and to want to come back as quickly as possible after their departure.
