I highly recommend a visit to the Butterflies Valley, it’s a unique experience: millions of butterflies fill this tranquil gorge from May to September. The shade of the huge plane trees and the small river running through it will make it difficult to believe you are still in Rhodos. A great half-day trip! 🦋 🌳 🏃🏻‍♂🥾

The Athenians and Spartans were fighting to get control over the island during the Peloponnesean War and later Rhodos sent an army to support Alexander the Great. The thermal springs of Kallithea are one of the places you just have to visit when in Rodos! They were being used by the Knights of St. John in 13-14th century, all the way back to the ancient Greeks in 700b.c. The premises are a fascinating example of Italian architecture and the small beach is just amazing! 🏖 ⚜️ @ Kalithea Springs, Rhodes
