Looking for a clean, seafront, XL apartment with privacy, immediate access to the beach, a beautiful garden to hang out, all basic facilities (ac, wc, wifi, kitchen), may accommodate 4-5 guests, a pleasant 15-20min walk from city centre, close to bus terminal and highway and a host with a smile and eager to help? Apt7 it is!
The space
A very comfortable seafront apartment, recently renovated. It is about 60m2. On the inside you will find a clean, well organised and really nice place to stay. A large kitchen room is also available. In addition the apartment features a bathroom with shower, free wifi, microwave oven, instant coffee maker, small stove. One of the three available beds is a double bed. This apartment can host up to 4 or maybe 5 guests. It is a huge, spacious single large room. Perfect for families with little kids and group of friends.
This apartment has two entrances, one independent from the street so you may enter the apartment without entering the main building door. And one entrance from the inside of the building. The other end of the apartment reaches the garden, immediately, where you could be spending most of your time relaxing, eating and enjoying the sun.
The apartment is very clean, it is definitely an excellent choice for your stay. In addition we do offer cleaning service every 2 or 3 days, free of charge!
Mamangakis Apartments are about 1,5km away the city center but it's a beautiful 15-20min walk or ride with your bicycle, taking advantage of the new bicycle route on the sidewalks of the town. Within a range of 100-150m you will find parking, the best restaurants in town (also right on the sea), souvlaki place, courier service, ATM, bakery and internet cafe for your breakfast and other needs.
There is a bus stop right outside of our apartments that takes you to the university and another bus stop across the street that takes you to the city center.

Guest access
Apt7 has its own kitchen with fridge, its own WC with shower and immediate access to the garden and sea. The garden is available for all our guests and you may feel free to enjoy your meal or reading a book at your convenience. From the garden you step right on the beach! You do not have to walk outside the building or cross busy streets. You will be amazed how close you are on the sea.
Interaction with guests
As a host i am always willing to help and welcome my guests. Most of the times this is how it goes. But due to family affairs or business matters I am not always present at the apartments. However my mother who is living in the same building is also willing to help at all times. In addition airbnb messaging service is something that i follow almost 24hr so contacting me is easy. If you read reviews from my guests you will understand how much i value my guests' presence at my place.
Other things to note
Well in Rethymno you will be able to do quite a few things... apart from eating and shopping...
a. you may relax and enjoy the scenery from our garden or your apartment balcony... the view is amazing.
b. go for walks or running around the fortezza castle
c. there are many bars open for a nice night life experience
d. you may have fun on sea sports on the city long beach (parasailing, jet skis etc at Popeye or Ikarus sea sports, Scuba at Evelin Diving)
e. rent a bicycle or motorbike and explore the countryside... within 30min ride you will be in a beautiful village like Argyroupoli
f. rent a car and explore more countryside or the south part of the island which is rich with super amazing beautiful beaches and sceneries.
g. have a tattoo... many tattoo artists around.
h. go on a safari trip ... with an off road jeep or atv
i. get on the pirate ship for a nice cruise
j. arrange a hike to Samaria gorge... bus picks you up from the apartment
k. visit the water parks in Chania or Heraklio
l. visit Knossos, archaeological monument in Heraklio... bus picks you up from the apartment
m. have a day trip to Santorini (Tuesdays and Saturdays only i think)
n. get on the red bus for a city tour and view the city from the bus roof...
that's all i can think out of my head right now... you could always visit a travel agent for more attractive activities.
