Our complex is home to a variety of single and double bedroom properties, spacious and bright three bedroom maisonettes and a communal swimming pool. Located in peaceful beach-front surroundings of spectacular natural beauty, Eucalyptus Apartments are ideal for families and couples, providing a relaxing holiday and a starting point for exploring the emerald island of Cephalonia. Overlooking the sparkling turquoise sea across to the island of Ithaca, the apartments are cozy, comfortable and fully furnished with modern kitchen and bathroom appliances, air conditioners, TVs and wifi for the most relaxing and enjoyable stay possible. The premises are fully managed and maintained by full-time staff on-site, complete with a reception, open during working hours for enquiries, bookings, recommendations and assistance of all kinds. Guided tours, diving, kayaking, horse/donkey riding, wine tasting, water sports, private boat rentals, private yacht tours, hiking, fishing, jeep safaris, mountain biking and caving are just some of the exciting activities available on the island that can be booked through us! The complex is located in Karavomylos, a quiet village situated on the coast, 2 km west of Sami. Two traditional tavernas can be found (a beautiful sea front taverna is at the end of the road), as well as two mini-markets, a bakery and a Greek orthodox Church. Also very near the complex is a tennis court, a basket ball court and 5-a-side football pitch. The exquisite natural wonder of the Melissani Cave (one of the most important attractions of Cephalonia), is also conveniently located just a 10 minute walk away. The nearest town is Sami, a 3 minute drive, or a 20 minute walk along the beach. A traditional and well known port town, with many tavernas, restaurants, coffee shops and bars, as well as supermarkets, butchers, green grocers, bakeries, a pharmacy, ATMs and a medical centre. Sami is a region of unique natural beauty and its port is considered one of the most important on the island, as it connects it with Ithaca, the mainland and Italy. In the opposite direction is Agia Effimia, a traditional fishing village and well known sailing destination, centred on a small harbour that can be reached by a 10 minute drive. From here personal motorboats can be rented to explore the otherwise inaccessible, remote and pristine coves along the coast - highly recommended by previous guests! Due to the central location of the complex, many of the island's main attractions can be reached by car in less than an hour's drive, including the world-famous Myrtos beach (25 mins), the charming Assos village (40 mins), the sandy Skala beach (50 mins), the capital of Argostoli (40 mins), the cosmopolitan village of Fiscardo (55 mins), and the International Airport of Cephalonia (50 mins). To enjoy these locations a car or scooter rental is highly recommended.
