🏛️ Γιατί Ζέρυνθος;

Το όνομα των νέων μας apartments εμπνέεται από την αρχαία πόλη Ζέρυνθος, που βρισκόταν στη Σαμοθράκη, κατά μήκος του ποταμού Φονιά. Η πόλη άνθισε από τα αρχαϊκά χρόνια (8ος αι. π.Χ.) έως τα πρώτα Οθωμανικά χρόνια και συνδέεται με τη λατρεία της θεάς Εκάτης Ζυρυνθίας, που τιμούνταν σε σπήλαιο της περιοχής.

Η Ζέρυνθος αποτελεί κομμάτι της μυστηριακής και πνευματικής κληρονομιάς του νησιού, συνδυάζοντας ιστορία, φύση και ενέργεια. Το όνομά της ζωντανεύει ξανά — αυτή τη φορά ως χώρος φιλοξενίας και ανάπαυσης στο μοναδικό τοπίο της Σαμοθράκης. 🌿🏡

🏛️ Why Zerynthos?
The name of our new apartments is inspired by the ancient city of Zerynthos, which once stood in Samothraki along the banks of the Fonias River. The city flourished from the Archaic period (8th century BC) until the early Ottoman years and was closely connected to the worship of the goddess Hecate Zerynthia, who was honored in a sacred cave in the area.
Zerynthos is part of the island’s mystical and spiritual heritage, blending history, nature, and energy.
Its name comes to life once more — this time as a place of hospitality and rest in the unique landscape of Samothraki. 🌿🏡
