The Aumkara Apartments are situated on the edge of the village of Skala Eressos in a quiet no through road and are ideally located just a few minutes walk from both the beach and the bars and restaurants of Skala Eressos. Simply decorated in an ethnic style the intention is to create stylish comfortable

apartments and a peaceful space where you can relax and enjoy your holidays. Excellent views over the sea and to the surrounding hills as well as the proximity to the beach and nightlife have made the Aumksara is a popular place to stay. The accommodation comprises of one 2 bedroom apartment, five 1 bedroom apartments and three double studios. All have air-conditioning, ensuite bathrooms with WC, wardrobes and dressing tables with mirrors. We know many of our regular guests are concerned they will not be able to enjoy their holiday here this summer but please be reassured that both we and the other businesses in Skala are taking measures to ensure your safety. Of course we all know the risks and understand those who prefer to stay home this summer, but if you decide to visit we will be doing our best to keep you safe and happy! Dear Aumkara friends We are happy to inform you that we will be opening on 15th June and will be implementing extra hygiene measures as per health department directives. This will include steam cleaning your apartment before arrival and providing you with antiseptic cleaners to use when you arrive home. We are also implementing other measures for you safety. We hope you are all well and keeping positive in this crisis and look forward to welcoming all who wish to visit this summer. Aumkara is located in a peaceful Cul-de-sac directly next to our beautiful beach & just outside the village of Skala Eressos. Comprising 9 air-conditioned and spacious apartments we pride ourselves on making sure you feel at home and enjoy your stay.

Depending on the month you visit you will be greeted with the sound of birdsong & the waves when you wake. Our large roof terrace with a 360 degree view to the open sea, village of Skala & the valley of Eressos is great for chilling out and enjoying the summer sun.

We know that the time you spend with us is precious to you. You worked hard to able to have a holiday, relax & recharge your body & soul. If you choose to stay with us we will do our best to ensure that you will have the opportunity to do this in whichever way suits you the best.

We are on hand to make you as comfortable as we can & the wonderful Sofia will look after your every need with regards to housekeeping. Making sure your apartment is clean & tidy & any laundry you require is done as quickly as we can. I am on hand to help you discover the treasures of our village & island, with advice on services available & things to do. I also cultivate a small organic vegetable garden which you are welcome to take produce from including tomatoes, rocket, peppers, zucchini and aubergines as well as other vegetables and herbs.
