Skiathos benefits from numerous sandy beaches ranging from isolated beaches only accessible by boat to the more popular beaches with umbrellas, sun loungers, water sports and tavernas. The closest beaches are within a 10 minute walk downhill, whilst Koukounaries is a 20 minute drive. In the summer months there is a regular boat service from Kanapitsa Beach to the town. The bus stop and nearest supermarket are a 15 minute walk. The nearest taverna is at Kanapitsa Beach (10 minute walk downhill). Travel:
Skiathos airport is a 20 minute drive away. Car hire is not essential but is recommended if you wish to explore the island. Notes on accommodation: Ideal for a couple or small families. Guests are requested not to smoke inside the house. We prefer that p20 or similar once-a-day sun screen products are not used as they can permanently stain fabrics and some plastic surfaces. Outside: There are two terraces with table, chairs and sun loungers. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The final clean and a weekly change of linen is included. Beach towels are provided
