🐢 Magic is about to happen on our beach! 🌊

The moment we’ve all been waiting for is getting closer every day. Beneath the sand, our protected sea turtle nest is almost ready, and soon, dozens of tiny hatchlings will emerge to begin their incredible journey to the sea.
Will you be one of the lucky few to witness nature’s miracle in person?
As we wait for these little travelers to make their way to the waves, please help us ensure they have the safest journey possible: Keep a respectful distance from the marked nesting zone. Refrain from using flash photography or bright lights at night, as hatchlings navigate by natural light toward the ocean. Keep the beach clear and give them a smooth path to the water.
Keep your eyes on the shore, unforgettable moments are right around the corner! 💙

Την Παρασκευή 24 Ιουλίου θα πραγματοποιηθεί φιλανθρωπική μουσική βραδιά στην πλατεία της Κοινότητας Μοχού.
Όλα τα έσοδα της εκδήλωσης θα διατεθούν για την οικονομική ενίσχυση της Κατερίνας και την πλήρη αποκατάσταση της υγείας της.

🐢 A Very Special Visit to Our Beach! ⛱️

Some moments remind us just how special the place we call home truly is.

This morning, we were informed by a beach visitor that during the previous night a magnificent sea turtle came ashore and chose our beach as the place to lay her eggs.

As soon as we received the information, we immediately secured and protected the area with safety marking tape and an information sign to help ensure the nest remains undisturbed and safe.

Beneath the sand, a remarkable journey has now begun.

Over the coming weeks, when the time is right, dozens of tiny hatchlings will emerge and make their very first journey towards the sea.

We are honored that this beautiful creature chose our beach and proud to do our part in protecting this precious nest.

We kindly ask all visitors to help us safeguard this special area:

💙 Avoid approaching or disturbing the nest.
💙 Help us protect our marine life and natural environment.

Together, we can ensure that this incredible story has a happy ending.
