Stalos, with its long, sandy beach, is ideal for children. The town is located 7 km from beautiful Chania, one of the most picturesque cities in Greece. The Chania airport is only 25 km from Stalos, the Heraklion airport is 160 km distant. Villa Elisa Villa Elisa is located on a slope amidst olive trees and grape orchards. From this quiet site above the village of Stalos you can take in the panorama of the coastline and the nature reserve island Theodorou. The landscaped grounds enchant our guests and make them feel as if they were in paradise. The water quality is exceptionally good. Stalos beach has been ranked with an EU blue flag for its clear, clean water. Many beach kiosks and beach bars invite you to enjoy their selection of snacks and beverages. The closest restaurants (Taverne) are only a short walking distance (five to ten minutes) away and offer genuine Cretan hospitality and culinary specialties. You can find an even greater selection of restaurants, cafes, bakeries, small grocery and general stores and shops along the coastal road behind the beach. And for more extensive (grocery) shopping, a Lidl-Market is only 2 km from the Villa Elisa on the road to Chania. The Villa has a total of nine units, 3 studios and 6 apartments. The grounds include a fresh-water pool and children’s wading pool with sun umbrellas and beach lounge chairs as well as a more shaded area with a barbecue/grill for the use of the guests. Your friendly hosts Werner and his Cretan wife Elisabeth live on the premises and can offer you many suggestions for day excursions or respond to other questions you may have.
