Dear guest I hope you and your families are all fine and healthy 🙏
I would like to suggest not to cancel your summer vacation but to reschedule them either for this summer or for next summer (2021).
Because of the corona virus( which is a state of emergency such as tsunami earthquakes etc) there has been some changes at the Greek laws including the tourism law(It is also a European law that overlaps each country separately).
There is a paragraph that says that if the guest want to cancel there reservation and asks for the deposit back,he or she will get a voucher with 18 months value and not the deposit.If after 18months the voucher is not used then the guest will receive back all the amount of the deposit.

The article number is A84/13-4-2020

Thats the part that says about the voucher.

Εάν, κατόπιν της κατά την παρ. 1 καταγγελίας, η τουριστική επιχείρηση υποχρεούται να επιστρέψει στον πελάτη οποιοδήποτε ποσό που ο πελάτης έχει καταβάλει ως προκαταβολή, εγγύηση, αρραβώνα, μερική ή ολική εξόφληση ή με οποιαδήποτε άλλη μορφή για την εκτέλεση της σύμβασης, η τουριστική επιχείρηση δύναται, κατά παρέκκλιση των κατά περίπτωση εφαρμοστέων διατάξεων σύμβασης ή νόμου, να προσφέρει στον πελάτη αντί της επιστροφής χρημάτων ισόποσο πιστωτικό σημείωμα ισχύος δεκαοκτώ (18) μηνών από την ημερομηνία έκδοσης του.

If, after the complaint under paragraph 1, the tourist company is obliged to return to the customer any amount that the customer has paid in advance, guarantee, engagement, partial or total repayment or in any other form for the ex*****on of the contract, the tourist The company may, in derogation from the applicable provisions of the contract or law, offer the customer an equal credit note of eighteen (18) months from the date of issue instead of refunding it.

Dacă, după reclamația prevăzută la alineatul (1), compania turistică este obligată să restituie clientului orice sumă pe care clientul a plătit-o în avans, garanție, angajare, rambursare parțială sau totală sau în orice altă formă pentru executarea contractului, turistul Societatea poate, în derogare de la prevederile aplicabile ale contractului sau legii, să ofere clientului o notă de credit echivalentă de optsprezece (18) luni de la data emiterii, în loc să o restituie.

Please respect the law and accept the voucher.You will not loose your money,in case you don't use your voucher in 18 months you will get all the amount of your deposit back.
