George & Helen - owners of Pension George
Santorinian George and English Helen met on Santorini in 1998 , whilst Helen was on holiday . That was the start of a wonderful romance and they were married in February 1990. Pension George began as 6 rooms and grew over the years as tourism grew and developed on the island. A few years ago the Karterados Beach Apartments were also completed at Karterados Beach.
George loves gardening - we think it shows , because both properties have a beautiful garden. Because of the water shortage on the island and the expense of the water , keeping a lush garden is time-consuming, expensive and hard-work - but we think that it is worth it !! We hope that our guests think so too and that they feel relaxed and peaceful in our gardens !
