Revisiting Elpida Panopoulou & Konstantinos Tsiantas and their work, Rooms Between Rooms, 2026, an installation exploring the tension between the familiar and the uncanny through the aesthetic of liminal spaces.
The work focuses on environments that feel recognizable, yet are stripped of human presence and function, creating a sense of spatial and temporal ambiguity, as though suspended between different states. Drawing from the contemporary mythology of liminal spaces, the installation transforms absence itself into a carrier of meaning, inviting guests to pause, observe and form their own interpretation.
