We are proud to present the work of Kyriaki Evangeloudi, whose artistic practice explores the timeless concept of hospitality through a contemporary lens.
Inspired by Homer's Odyssey, where welcoming a guest begins with the ritual of washing their feet, the installation reflects on how this ancient gesture of care has evolved into the modern hotel experience. Using everyday hospitality items such as soap, towels and slippers, the artist transforms familiar objects into sculptural forms that invite reflection on care, protection and the rituals of welcoming.
We are also delighted to announce that Kyriaki Evangeloudi will be participating in the art competition held and sponsored by Oscar Olympic Hotel this October, where her work will be showcased alongside other talented contemporary artists.
Guests are invited to vote for their favourite artwork during their stay until June 2027, celebrating creativity and supporting emerging artistic talent.
