Tsagarada is centrally located in eastern Pelion and constitutes the ideal base for exploring the other villages and beaches in the area. The Villa has been built on one of the slopes of Tsagarada in Pelion. It is situated at a distance of 370 kilometres from Athens, 255 kilometres from Thessalonica and 55 kilometres from Volos. The nearest airport is that of Aghialos, situated a short distance fr
om the city of Volos (www.volosairport.gr). The renowned Blue Flag-awarded beach of Milopotamos is a mere 7 kilometres away from the Villa. The 110 year-old villa measures 360 m2 and is built on a plot of land measuring 2 hectares, offering a private parking facility for 6 vehicles. It was recently refurbished, constituting a labour of love and involving the investment of a great deal of personal time and creative energy on the part of its owners, in order to become your very own country escape. Each of its rooms is fully functional and has been designed to offer the visitor complete autonomy, relaxation, as well as moments of serenity and peace. The Villa comprises 2 stories, which communicate by means of an internal wooden hand-carved staircase. It has 5 bedrooms (each measuring 20+ square meters), every one of which offering its unique signature style. It also has two fairy-tale like sitting rooms, one on the ground floor and one on the first floor, a fully-equipped kitchen, as well as spacious bathroom and WC. During the refurbishment of the Villa, care was taken to remain true to the property’s architectural heritage. The renovation remained true to the original building, with its timber and stone parts conserved with painstaking attention to detail. Any later decorative additions were sparsely deployed and carefully selected in order to blend in seamlessly with the original design. This has ensured that the prevailing atmosphere at the Villa remains one of cosiness, familial warmth and understated luxury. The Villa is endowed with uninterrupted views over the Aegean Sea, all the way to Chalkidike and the island complex of the Northern Sporades (Skopelos and Alonnisos). The garden of the Villa is overgrown with chestnut trees, mistletoe bushes, fir trees, fig trees, hydrangeas and rose bushes, the aromas of which accompany the visitor, creating the sense of a mini-oasis.
