A hyper-local masterclass in Maniot tradition:

Kyrimai’s signature "Kozouni" featuring slow-braised quail wrapped in golden pastry.

Originally reserved for weddings and feasts, Kozouni is the epitome of Mani’s culinary heritage.

The dish is a nod to our history: in the 1870s, this very quay was a bustling hub for quail exports to Marseille.

Today, we bring this legacy back to the old trading post -now our restaurant- reimagining this historic trade route through taste.

We’ve kept the rugged Maniot spirit of the old trade hub, but swapped the cargo for a refined sea-view menu: modern Greek/ Mediterranean cuisine honouring seasonality and local ingredients.

"70,000 live quails". That was the annual export from this very dock to Marseille back in the 1870s.

We didn’t know the full scale of it until we started digging through the old wood warehouse during restoration back in 2000.

What we found were19th-century trade ledgers, handwritten books and maritime archives that had been silent for over a century.

You can find them today in our archive room next to the reception, a small, handmade museum of the trade era that Alexandros Kyrimis will personally show you if you ask.
