Porto Selina… words are not enough to describe the natural beauty of this fantastic place. Very few know about this place, even in August there is a big possibility for you to be there all by your self. In world war II Germans used this small gulf as a fort.

Porto Selina is 22 km to the north of Agios Leon. When you reach the village Volimes, follow the signs to Korithi. When you leave behind Volimes turn left, there are no signs. Stay on the main road all the way to the end of the road. When you reach Selina you will see a very small rocky bay.

Don’t be disappointed, once you swim to the right, around the huge rock you will face a fantastic beach with crystal clear water. You will not find any umbrellas or sun beds nor canteens. You have to bring your own water, food and shade.

Porto Stenitis is a big fiord with clear water and caves along the coast located northwest of Casa Campanario 13 km away.. It's possible to reach it from Maries village with an asphalt road that becames a dirt road in the last 1.5km.
You will not find a beach or tourist facilities, it's a calm bay with the best water of the island. Stenitis is also a docking bay for small fishing boats that go for short daily excursions in the region. This is also a good spot of scuba diving. The beach is surrounded by hillsides covered with lush greenery and vast plantation.

Another small bay with 2 beautiful pebble beaches is Porto Vromi.
Located northwest of Agios Leon, 14 km away from Casa Campanario. You can reach Porto Vromi from Maries or Anafonitria village. The most scenic rout is from Anafonitria village. Driving down the narrow downhill road you will have the opportunity to enjoy the picturesque bay from above.
The beach is narrow with white pebbles and deep crystal cool waters. You will enjoy a quiet swim as there is no beach bars or shops. You can also rent a canoe or pedalo to explore the surrounding countryside and caves. Close by in a cave is the stunning rock profile of the sea god Poseidon.
From here you can hire speed boats to explore the west coast and discover all hiden magical beaches. You can also get a boat to famous Shipwreck Beach.

Korakonisi is a small rocky island that almost touches the mainland. Here you will admire the wild natural beauty.
Korakonisi is located southwest of Agios Leon, 12 km and 18 minutes away from Casa Campanario. One km before the village of Kiliomenos you turn right. When the road ends you park and you continue on foot. You walk down a narrow path with stone steps.
The island is a unique monument of nature. You will see an enormous arch of over 20m. Climbing up the island you can admire the rocky wilderness inside. The brave enough can dive and feel the awe in all its glory. The water is cool and blue and the seabed is wonderful. There only one small canteen that sells beverages and light snacks.

The 2nd must to go place after the "ship wreck" is Porto Limnionas cliff beach. It is on the west side of Agios Leon village and only 6 km from Casa Campanario.
More like a natural swimming pool. Small cliffs with crystal clear turquoise waters. The combination of mountains and sea creates a landscape so attractive that beauty can be described as heavenly. It is ideal for diving and snorkeling. From this year operates a diving school.
It is easily accessible by car and parking is available. There are umbrellas and sunbeds where you can order soft drinks, coffee and food. As well there is a traditional tavern with very good food.

Porto Roxa is on the west side of village Agios Leon and only 5 km from Casa Campanario.
It is a small bay with clean cold water, great place for swimming. You can dive from the cliffs or if you are brave enough from the diving board. The sea bottom is ideal for snorkeling. It is easily accessible by car and parking is available. There are umbrellas and sunbeds where you can order soft drinks, coffee and food.
