Some mornings are simply better with a balcony overlooking the Cretan mountains.

Our Mezzanine Cottage with Balcony is a 42 m² private stone cottage designed on two levels, with a charming bedroom upstairs and its own balcony opening onto the landscape. Downstairs, there is plenty of space to slow down, while the private terrace with sunbeds looks out over the gardens and mountains of Zaros.

Made for couples or families with up to two children, it is a little home in the Cretan countryside, surrounded by olive trees, fresh air and the quiet rhythm of Eleonas.

At the heart of Eleonas Country Village, stone walls, warm wood and wide-open windows bring the Cretan landscape right to the table. And in the middle of it all, an old olive tree rises through the dining room - a beautiful reminder of where everything begins.

The same landscape shapes the menu: seasonal vegetables and wild greens, fruit from our orchard, local cheeses and meats, and our own extra virgin olive oil, pressed from the olives grown here. The menu follows the seasons, just as a true Cretan kitchen always has.

Lunch or dinner here feels wonderfully unhurried: tables beneath the olive tree, mountain light pouring in, and food that belongs completely to its surroundings.

There is something special about breakfast when almost everything on the table has a story.
