Posada Los Encuentros is an intimate lodge with two guest rooms and five studios, a relaxing lounge, a wood-burning sauna, a solar heated soak tub, an organic medicinal herb garden, and a well-equipped fitness center. We offer a free, basic, yet nourishing continental breakfast to our guests each morning they stay with us. We are located about 750 m from the tourist-oriented center of Panajachel (
~ 10-15 min walk, 5 min. by local moto-taxi), and within 2 km from other tourist oriented interests. Each room here provides cable TV. Rooms also include mini-fridge, private bathroom with shower, and most include a garden view. Some rooms include a full kitchen for guests to make their own meals while they enjoy their stay with us. Free WiFi is available in all common areas and most rooms. We also offer sturucture programs that range from language and cultural studies, to physical and spiritual health fitness. We can assist guests pursue their interest by placing them in contact with a variety of human resources and points of interest at the Lake and beyond. There are a number of private tour services offered on site and within the town of Panajachel. We offer daily and weekly rates. Cheaper rates are offered to long-term renters who are looking to rent spaces on a month-to-month basis. We can help you keep in touch with the world 'back home,' or help you leave it all behind.
