Eco Hotel La Paz

Founded in 1993, La Paz has indeed been a warm host and peaceful retreat for those travellers and seekers who find themselves drawn to the beauty and magic of San Marcos. Nestled in a sanctuary of tropical gardens, and only minutes’ walk from Lago Atitlan, we are a wonderful and tranquil place to rest and find your “paz”. Supporting twelve local Mayan families and aiding two local charities, La Paz is a friend to the community as well. We welcome you with open hearts, professional and courteous service and want you to feel at home during your stay with us! Dine in our organic vegetarian restaurant offering fresh, healthy and delicious meals, sip tea on one of our garden benches, stroll the property and vegetable/herb garden, relax and detoxify in our Mayan sauna or read a book lounging upstairs in our loft.. Our rooms are spacious and clean, offering a dormitory for the budget traveller as well as lovely private suites with private bathrooms. We are also proud to offer garden Yoga classes under out palapa surrounded by nature. Come join us, we welcome you with open arms and will do our best to make you feel at home!!
