AS MY GLAMOROUS SINGAPORE FRIEND and I were taxiing from lunch at Pacific Place to afternoon tea in Wanchai, we noticed a film crew ahead.

My friend Adeline Guo asked the driver what was going on. He said they were filming a TV show. I tried snapping pix, but was slow on the draw. "Do you want me to circle back?" the driver asked. I said, "Okay," thinking he was kidding. But he wasnt.

He drove back and drove as slowly as possible so I could snap some pictures, as her minder indicated that we should keep moving.

Apparently, the actress was Sisley Choi （蔡思貝） . I managed to make eye and waved, and she waved back with a big smile. To get the smile, I lost the chance to take her picture.

Oh, well. To coin a new phrase, a smile is worth thousand pictures!
