🎄 As many of you know, I fundraise every Christmas for those less fortunate living on the island of Roatan.
This year, help is needed more than ever. In addition to the COVID 19 pandemic, Hurricane ETA devastated parts of mainland Honduras, leaving some 400,000 estimated families not only homeless, but having lost every single possession.
This year, in addition to helping those on roatan with a bag of groceries on Christmas Eve, I would like to send diapers and baby food to those in need on the mainland. People have been great about sending clothes, but those two items are often over looked and much needed.
If you can hope donate - and EVERY little bit helps! - I can accept via Canadian e-transfer, PayPal, or USD account or Honduran account bank transfer.
Every year, I receive multiple $5 & $10 donations and this amounts to hundreds of dollars, so I really stress that every little bit help. $8 is enough for a small bag of groceries for a family here.
🙏🏼 Christmas is my favourite time of year and the best part of this season in my entire life has been giving back on this island. Imagine the relief of waking up on Christmas morning and knowing there’s no hungry bellies in your house. And you can just cook and your kids can play for a day and you can push worry aside for a few hours. This is the gift you’re giving!!
