A little reminder to look up once in a while 👀

We spend so much time looking down at the reef that it’s easy to forget there’s plenty happening above the surface too.

Our dock gets frequent visits from this pelican, who likes to stop by for a spot of fishing 🐟🦤

How small is too small to spot underwater? 👀

This little pipefish was absolutely tiny, but somehow still managed to catch our attention.

It’s the tiny creatures you almost swim straight past that make you slow down and look a little closer.

There’s always something going on under the dock 👀

Right now, the silver fish are schooling by the thousands, with a giant barracuda and tarpon cruising through the middle of it all.

You don’t even have to get in the boat to see some pretty incredible marine life in Utila 🐟

Yesterday we welcomed Bob and Brian to Utila Lodge and got their diving adventure underway 🤿🌊

They kicked things off with their first three dives alongside dive guide Lucy, exploring some of Utila’s underwater favourites.

And they’re not done yet, back in the water today for another three dives! 🐠
