If you enjoy warm floors, Villa Corsa meets all temperature criteria for all surfaces, which means that the walls, floors and even the
space near windows is close to the air temperature in the room.
This is secured by the thickness of thermal insulation and
high-quality carpentry, bringing the unparalleled sense of comfort
in the space, which guarantees that you will never feel cold in any
part of the house, even on the coldest day.
The appropriate surface temperature in combination with the
extremely low required heating power results in no need for
complex systems like floor heating. In addition, the house is very
thermally sluggish, which means it changes temperature very slowly
and maintains its temperature for a long time even with the heating
or cooling systems turned off.
Fresh and filtered air - everywhere and always
As required by the Passive House standard,
all rooms are ventilated without exception.
Mechanical ventilation is the only way to
ensure sufficient amounts of fresh air in the
room, a low level of CO2 and prevent
excessive humidity. The ventilation system
continuously blows fresh air into rooms for
extended stay, while extracting the moist and
stale air from bathrooms and storage rooms.
In winter, fresh air is heated by the
ventilation unit using warm air that is being
expelled from the room, thereby saving
energy. During mild summer evenings, if the
unit reads a lower temperature during the
night it will automatically inject cool air into
the house, to cool the space for free.
The Helios ventilation unit with heat recovery
is used for this, which is also a certified
device for Passive Houses with a value of 90%
heat recovery. Also, all the fresh air we bring
in passes through an air filter that removes
any dust particles and allergens.
In Villa Corsa, you will wake up well rested,
while the bathroom will welcome you with no
