🎉 Happy World Tourism Day from all of us in Baška! 🎉

World Tourism Day, celebrated each year on 27 September, is the global observance day fostering awareness of tourism’s social, cultural, political and economic value and the contribution that the sector can make towards reaching the Sustainable Development Goals.

We marked the occasion yesterday and shot our generational photo on Baška's Vela Riva. Locals, friends and fans of Baška gathered on the waterfront to pay tribute to this generational project of extending the waterfront that began more than 100 years ago.

💙🕵️‍♀️ This Wednesday, join on our free Storytelling & A Capella Wednesday / Baška guided walk!

It'll be a 1.5 hr guided walk, held in English, during which we'll discover Glagolitic letters scattered throughout Baška, get to know their origin and come to understand their hidden meanings.

🔝🔜 Sound good? Great! Here are some more importan thing you need to know and the sign up info:

* The walks start at 7:30 PM on 11.08. & 18.08., and at 7:00 PM on 25.08. & 01.09.
* The meeting point is in front of the Tourist Office of the Tourist Board of the Municipality of Baška, Zvonimirova 114.
* After each walk participants will have the opportunity to learn to write their name in Glagolitic script
* Guided tours are free for all who sign up, organised by the Tourist Board of the Municipality of Baška
* if you can't make it this Wednesday, there will be another walk in English on August 25th

📣🔝A free guided tour (in both English & Croatian) is the perfect way to get to know Baška!

🔜 We've added some extra dates to our Storytelling & A Capella Wednesday / Baška, so you can join us for a 2 hours long guided tour tomorrow at 7:30 PM and then enjoy an a capella performance of 'klapas' on Thursday!
