Posebna nam je čast što je jedan trenutak iz Casa Mille Olivi dobio svoj umjetnički trag. Lovro Artuković napravio je crtež u tehnici ugljena prema fotografiji našeg gosta Vedrana Brauna. (Stanka Mirak Braun)

Lovro Artuković jedan je od najistaknutijih hrvatskih suvremenih slikara, akademik HAZU-a. Prepoznatljiv je po figurativnom slikarstvu kojim istražuje intimu, urbanu stvarnost i osobne mitologije.

Od 2003. živi i radi u Berlinu. Njegova su djela zastupljena u važnim zbirkama, među kojima je i Albertina u Beču.

"NONA istarski domaćIN - Grandmother Istrian Host" is the title of the new cookbook whose narrative we created to offer every guest an authentic Istrian experience. Alongside traditional cured meat products, it features Istrian dialect phrases and descriptions of the customs and traditions behind their preparation. Ombolo, sausages, panceta.

A new experience for Sandra and Matthias. 🍇

Today, they picked grapes for the very first time in their lives! And they did an amazing job with their new challenge! 👏

Lisa and Filip joined us too, so we all raised a glass to the must and to everything that is yet to come. 🥂

Because in Istria, you don’t come just for a holiday. Sometimes you step into the vineyards, guests from our Heritage and Moder houses come together, and we all become part of a small, local story.

And today, our guests became part of our grape harvest.

We are continuing the tradition of our ancestors. 🍇

Some of these vines were purchased way back in 1868 by our grandfather, Matthius Pisak. Today, we are carrying on his craft.

We still grow our own grapes and make Malvazija, Istria’s indigenous w**e. 🍷

In what may be our earliest harvest ever — on the very last day of August — we were joined by our dear guests from Poland.

Čin-čin to new friendships and w**e on our lips! 🥂🍇
