United is adding Croatia’s Dalmatian coast to its map: nonstop Newark to Split begins April 30, 2026, three times a week on a Boeing 767-300ER. The carrier says this will be the only nonstop service between the United States and Split, with seats going on sale today (pending approvals).

United also notes it is currently the only airline offering direct U.S.–Croatia flights thanks to its seasonal Newark–Dubrovnik service. The Split launch is part of the airline’s Summer 2026 trans-Atlantic expansion unveiled this morning.

Split gives U.S. travelers a new gateway to Croatia’s islands and coast while keeping Star Alliance connectivity over Newark for the rest of the network. Expect a summer-seasonal schedule using United’s premium-heavy 767-300ER.
