It's always fun to spend a day in Zadar, a city bustling with life in the summer, and peaceful in the winter. So much to see and do: ancient historic buildings, shopping in picturesque boutiques, an abundance of quaint cafes and restaurants, unique modern art and incredible sunsets. Renowned film director Alfred Hitchcock even stated that Zadar has the most beautiful sunset in the world - who wouldn't want to see that? Just spent another fabulous week at our Corinium Cottage 😁
We enjoyed relaxing in the February sun on the balcony, went for walks on the beach, explored Zadar and went on incredible hikes up Rijeka Bijela, along the Karisnica river and at Plitvice Lakes National Park!

There's nothing like a refreshing dip in Bijela River after a lovely hike up Rijeka Bijela Canyon. Quite a chilly swim in February, but who could resist such inviting water!
