Each room is equipped with unique designer furniture and carefully set light design. Nenad Kukurin’savant-garde yet coherent approach to creating gourmet food is founded on a forty-year long tradition of the family restaurant Kukuriku. His distinct style and artistic approach to food preparation and presentation has set many of today’s guidelines in gastronomy and in the fusion of at times unexpected food and wine combinations. The many awards and recognitions he has received in his long career are not the ultimate pleasure for Nenad Kukurin, who admits that his greatest joy is to see his guests content and satisfied after preparing and presenting them with his personally created dishes. Kastav is happily situated less than 6 kilometres from the sea and 360 meters above the sea level.
