Hotel Draga di Lovrana is a small family boutique hotel**** owned by Christian and Sanja Nikolac from Opatija, bought back in 1978 as a ruin with the idea of turning it into a hotel. The initial works and the idea of renovation came to a stop at the end of the 80s as the wartime in Croatia began and the family then turned to fishing. As the situation improved, they once again started thinking abou

t the hotel and creating a complete offer which would include both fishing and catering activities. Christian decided to make his father's wish come true and renew the facility based on the original project in order to create a positive atmosphere and honour the legend that the owner, who would restore the hotel’s former glory, must be someone with foreign roots (one grandmother is from Venice and the other from Budapest) because, supposedly, only then the good ghosts would come to life. A hotel bearing the original name Draga di Lovrana was thus rebuilt on the existing original construction in 2004 and 2005, with its old Austro-Hungarian charm retained. Delighted guests from all over the world prove that the owners were successful in doing so. Located on the edge of a mountain reef above the islands and the sea,
with a spectacular 360 degree panorama!
