Family owned rustical lodging located in the heart of Kvarner - Opatija, Croatia. The most creative apartments in Kvarner region 2018.

Iako obnovljeni, apartmani Sušanj odišu duhom prošlosti i starom tradicijom naših predaka, pokladnih praksi te načinom života u skladu s prirodom.

🔥What an amazing weekend behind us organized by Extreme enduro Liburnija!🔥

The "Mountain of Challenge 2026" race—a scoring event for the Croatian Championship—took a place right here in our area, at the Miklavija industrial zone (Matulji)!

Over 80 competitors from five countries took a part across six categories, all chasing a single goal: a victory! 🏆

It was a pleasure to be a part of the fantastic atmosphere and this extreme enduro spectacle! 🏁

🥇 See you next year! 🥇

This foraged delicacy, prized for its elegant bitterness and delicate texture, holds a distinctive place in contemporary gastronomy. Asparagus is not merely an ingredient – it is a seasonal statement, an expression of terroir, and a tribute to nature’s rhythm.
This season carries special significance, as Kvarner proudly holds the title of European Region of Gastronomy, further highlighting the richness, authenticity, and culinary heritage of the region.
In fine dining kitchens, it is approached with restraint and precision. Blanched to perfection, gently caramelized in olive oil, or paired with emulsions, foams, and reductions that elevate its character – asparagus remains the focal point, subtly dominant.
Its short season further enhances its exclusivity, making each plate a fleeting yet memorable experience.
Wild asparagus is not a trend. It is a ritual, a return to essence, and a celebration of spring at its highest level.
