Jackie Chan is coming back to Croatia!
In 1986, in Croatia was filmed one of the biggest successes of Chinese cinematography - the "Armor of God" film directed by Jackie Chan, who plays the lead role, and is the author of scenario and plays some of the songs on the film.
The film was shot in the Hong Kong-Yugoslav co-production (Jadran film), so in the former Yugoslavia several locations were selected: the Postojna cave and Predjamski grad, Samobor castle, Dolac market and the Trnje in Zagreb.
As a part of the project "Istra u kadru - a film on its original location", on Friday, June 14th, Motovun will premiere the "God's Armor", a film full of humor, action and dangerous acrobatics, unique to Jackie Chan.
Interestingly, the film will be screened in the original Chinese language, and for the first time viewers will have the opportunity to watch the subtitles in Croatian. Due to the interest of foreign guests staying in Motovun and its surroundings, English subtitles will also be displayed. The projection will be preceded by the concert of the KUD Jazz Laginja concert from St. Lovrec with the repertoire of film music. At the same time, in cooperation with Fotovun from Motovun, we will present a poster and poster exhibition in the "Five Tower" gallery with the project organizers.
