[STATEHOOD DAY OF THE REPUBLIC OF CROATIA AND DAY OF CROATIAN VETERANS OF THE CITY OF SPLIT]
On Sunday, May 30, 2021, we celebrate the Statehood Day of the Republic of Croatia and the Day of Croatian Defenders of the City of Split.
The commemoration program begins with the laying of wreaths at the Lovrinac City Cemetery at 8 am at the Central Cross, then at the Cemetery of Homeland War Veterans and at the Memorial to the Bosniak-Muslims, victims of the Homeland War.

The citizens of Split and everyone who is in our beautiful city, the night before, on Saturday, May 29, starting at 8 pm on the newly renovated Gaja Bulat Square, can enjoy a concert conducted by maestro Ivo Lipanović, followed by stage fireworks. 🎶 🎇
👉 Niagara Falls will light up in Croatian colors, organized by the Consulate General of the Republic of Croatia in the USA. The lighting display will take place on May 29th from 10 – 10:15 pm local time (9:00 - 9:15 (3:00 - 3:15 am CET) & 10:00 - 10:15 pm EDT (4:00 - 4:15 am CET).
