The Šoltan field in the center of the island, although unfortunately still largely uncultivated, hides beautiful vineyards that produce excellent wines... 🍇🍷We headed there, to the vineyard of winemaker Vick Burica, which currently has three vineyards and 4,300 vines of Dobričići, Maraština and merlot.
Lipiška has a lot to offer, and hard-working people stay on the poor land, work and strive to create wines that will be well remembered... Winemaker Vicka Burica is certainly one of them!

In the interior of the island of Šolta in Srednje Selo is the winery of Mr. Karl Balić, which we had the opportunity to visit today. A total of 8,000 vines of the autochthonous Dobričić variety, followed by Merlot, Babić and Plavac mali are worked diligently by the whole family! We stayed a little longer than planned 😊, because this is a wonderful Šoltan story about work and love for what you create! Really wonderful! And the new winery is well worth seeing! And of course, come and taste great wines! Their Stari Dobričić 2021 won us over with its extraordinary taste, light astringency and pure aroma. Cheers! 🍷 And come to Šolta!
