Whilst the chaos of Christmas swirls under our feet, we’re thinking of the quiet serene streets of Stari Grad and can’t wait to return for another summer season BUT first things first - a day with all of our favourite people!

We wanted to wish all of you a wonderful Christmas and a fantastic New Year. Whatever you are doing, wherever you are, make it a good one and as they say in Croatian, živjeli✨ 🥂

We did it. Our first ever season at Mad Olive comes to an end. How the time has flown and how much fun we have had welcoming you all.

To our guests this summer, you have brought our dream to life. You have filled the walls with kindness, laughter, warmth and love and we have adored every second. Without you, Mad Olive is nothing.

We’re counting down the days until the hot summer air kisses our skin again, the aqua blue seas calls our name and the doors of Mad Olive breeze open for summer 2026.

Why Mad Olive ❓🫒🧐

Like naming a baby, it wasn’t easy and everyone had their opinions but there was only one real winner.
Speaking of babies, these are ours. Maddie and Olivia (did you see what we did there?)
We brought the girls to Hvar in the summer of 2003, they were 4 & 7 and they have returned every year since.

We are now long distant parenting and counting down the days until we’re all together again but their support for this chapter of our lives means everything to us. There was only ever one option - Mad Olive. After our girls, for our girls.
