The Sunny Cottage is our family’s heirloom. Built in Trstenik, in the Peljesac peninsula, it was thoroughly rebuilt and renovated twice in 2000 and 2012. The cottage is tucked in a quiet neighborhood of the old village, only 5 minutes walking from the wonderful 300 m long pebble beach. The downstairs area consists of a bright and spacious open plan living room and a fully equipped kitchen. In the
living room there is a comfortable sofa bed, a satellite TV, Hi-Fi stereo and of course Wi-Fi. There is a fully equipped bathroom and upstairs in the attic there are 2 air conditioned rooms with sleeping facilities for 5 adults. In the patio there is a dining table with four chairs, two sunshades, an electric grill and a herb garden. There is a bathroom with a shower, a sink, a toilet and a washing machine. Fresh linen and a sufficient number of towels are the standard offer. You’re free to take more or change them whenever you like. Upstairs in the attic there are 2 rooms with sleeping facilities for five grown up persons. The beds are actually very comfortable mattresses on the wooden floor, put on industrial pallets, which makes the attic very charming and cozy. The attic has a great air conditioner, it cools off both bedrooms in a few minutes. On the terrace there is a dining table with chairs, deck chairs with soft pillows, a sunshade, and an electric grill. There is a little herb garden which we tend with loving care. Pick a few leaves of basil for your own home made tomato sauce or some rosemary for your delicious and tasty grilled fish. Your refreshing mojito cocktails need just a few leaves of mint to be perfect! Pick whatever seasoning you may need. Also feel free to take some herbs home, to keep memories of your wonderful Croatian vacation.
