Apartmani Grisogono nalaze se u Zadru, u staroj gradskoj jezgri, u ulici nazvanoj prema renesansnom liječniku, filozofu, matematičaru, inženjeru i astrologu, Federiku Grisogonu. Apartments Grisogono are located in Zadar, in the city center, in the street named after the Renaissance physician, philosopher, mathematician, engineer and astrologist, Federico Grisogono. This famous homo universale was an inspiration for the decoration of one of the apartments and it can through pictures and written words to find out about one of the oldest families of Zadar Grisogono and the biography of Federico himself and the history of Zadar. Svakog posjetitelja ovog apartmana očekuje poklon kojim će, poželi li, moći naučiti osnove pisanja starim hrvatskim pismom, a u ponudi je i poduka stručnjaka kroz pisanje glagoljicom. /
Another apartment follows the story of the oldest Croatian script, the Glagolitic alphabet, which was used in Croatia from the 9th until the early 20th century. Every visitor will receive a gift, if he wants, to learn the basics of writing in old Croatian script. Treći apartman prikazuje zadarske zidine, bedeme, tzv. Muraj koji je u davno doba značio obranu od napadača, a danas prekrasnu šetnicu s koje pogled seže na uvalu Jazine. /
The third apartment shows the Zadar walls, the so-called Muraj which meant defend against attackers in ancient times, and today a beautiful promenade with a view that goes back to the bay Jazine. U blizini apartmana, svega stotinjak metara dalje, nalaze se gradska tržnica i ribarnica na kojima možete izabrati svježe voće i povrće iz zadarskoga zaleđa i sa zadarskih otoka, kvalitetan med lokalnih proizvođača, poznati paški sir, dalmatinski pršut i ribu, ali i domaća pića poput različitih vrsta rakija, vina i Maraschina. /
Near the apartments, just a hundred meters away, there is the city market and a fish market where you can choose fresh fruits and vegetables from Zadar hinterland and from the islands, high quality honey from the local producers, famous cheese from Island of Pag, Dalmatian smoked ham and fish, as well as local drinks such as different kinds of spirits, wine and Maraschino. Na svega 50 m od apartmana nalazi se glavno okupljalište Zadrana, Narodni trg i Kalelarga, glavna ulica, gdje možete osjetiti duh prošlosti staroga hrvatskoga grada Zadra i upoznati priče koje će vam sigurno ostati u sjećanju. /
At only 50 meters from the apartment there is the main gathering place for local people, the People's Square and Kalelarga, the main street, where you can feel the spirit of the past ancient Croatian city of Zadar and the familiar stories that will stay in your memory. Nakon nekoliko minuta hoda od apartmana, možete uživati u zadarskoj rivi s koje prizori zalaska Sunca sve posjetitelje ostavljaju bez daha. Ne kaže se bez razloga da je zalazak Sunca promatran sa zadarske rive jedan od najljepših na svijetu, a čak je i Alfred Hitchcock opisao taj zalazak kao „najljepši zalazak Sunca na svijetu, ljepši čak i od onoga u Key Westu na Floridi, kojemu se svake večeri ide pljeskati.“ /
After a few minutes walk from the apartments, you can enjoy the Zadar Riva from which you can admire breathtaking sunset scenes. It may be that the loveliest inscription of Zadar´s exceptional sunset was written by the famous Alfred Hitchcock. On the occasion of his visit to Zadar, in May 1964, while observing the luxurious game played by the sun the Maestro said: »Zadar has the most beautiful sunset in the world, more beautiful than the one in Key West, in Florida, applauded at every evening.«
Na rivi se nalaze jedinstvene u svijetu Morske orgulje koje proizvode glazbu pomoću vjetra i valova i instalacija Pozdrav Suncu koja upija Sunčevu energiju tijekom dana i očarava bojama noću. /
On the Zadar Riva you can find unique Sea organ which is a real musical instrument powered by the waves of the sea and a wind and installation Sun Salutation, which uses the rhythm of the waves to create the colorful series of light pulses during the night. Iz centra grada možete se zaputiti na organizirane poludnevne ili jednodnevne izlete u neki od nacionalnih parkova blizu Zadra ili otisnuti brodom na Nacionalni park Kornati te neki od otoka./
From the city center, you can take an organized half-day or day trips to some of the national parks near Zadar or by boat to Kornati National Park and some of the islands. Tijekom ljeta možete se okupati u moru kojega od apartmana dijeli samo dvije minute hoda, a u blizini se nalazi i nekoliko plaža. /
During the summer you can swim in the sea which is only a two minute walk from the apartments, and nearby there are several beaches.
