Through our hostel have passed women from all over the world.🧡 Different countries. Different languages. Different stories.

But you know what we’ve noticed?

No matter where they come from or how many birthdays they’ve celebrated, women carry a special kind of brightness with them. 😌☀️A warmth. A kindness. A spark that fills a space without even trying.

They bring color to the world through the little things, laughter in the hallway, thoughtful conversations, curiosity, courage, and the joy of discovering new places.

Today we celebrate women.
But honestly… we celebrate them every day.😊

Because the world needs wonderful women today and always.

Zrinjevac where trees tell stories, music fills the air, and even the weather has history. 🌳🎶🌦️
Just a 5-minute walk from Palmers Lodge Hostel and one of our favorite spots to slow down and breathe in the city. ✨

🌸 1. The Music Pavilion That Tells Stories
Built back in 1891, the iconic pavilion in the heart of Zrinjevac has hosted countless concerts and dances. In summer, the whole park turns into an open-air stage. 🎶

🌳 2. Trees Older Than a Century
The plane trees lining the park were planted in 1872 and many of them are still standing strong today, silent witnesses to Zagreb’s past. 🌿💚

🌦️3. The Historic Weather Station
Right in the park stands a meteorological station from 1884, still working today! Installed by the Viennese company Julius Fuess, it measures temperature, pressure, and humidity a true time capsule of Zagreb’s weather. ☀️🌧️
