Zagreb Fun Fact!
The Zagreb Funicular is the cable car situated in Tomićeva Street, connecting Ilica (Lower Town) with Strossmayerovo šetalište (Upper Town). Its 66-metre (217 ft) track makes it one of the shortest public-transport funiculars in the world.
The funicular has two cars for 28 passengers each (16 seated and 12 standing places). It runs at a speed of 1.5 m/s (4.9 ft/s), requiring 64 seconds to cross the distance. Its rides are scheduled every 10 minutes every day from 6:30 to 22:00h. One-way ticket is only for 5 HRK and can be bought in both stations of the funicular.

The Festival of Lights will take place for the fourth time in the Croatian capital from 16th to 20th March 2022.
After a two-year break caused by the pandemic, the festival will again shine in squares, streets, parks and facades of Zagreb. In addition to the Upper Town, this is the first time the festival will encompass locations in the Lower Town. During five days, visitors will be able to see 32 attractions in 31 locations.
