We are a Hungarian - Danish couple, living at the edge of the lovely village called Budajenő, with a marvelous view over the Zsámbék-basin. We built the Chalet right next door to our home, in the exclusive residential park of Hilltop. Here you can experience the charm of the village life in a high-end setting. The design of the house reflects our Scandinavian roots, as we love lots of light and cl
ean lines mixed with cozy items, so we can achieve the famous Danish "hygge " feeling. The house offers:
- 2 bedrooms with king size beds ( 180x200 cm - suitable for 4 persons)
- 1 bathroom with toilet and shower
- a spacious living - dining - fully equipped kitchen area with an authentic wood burning stove
- huge covered terrace with a large outdoor dining set
Our guests can use:
- the entire house
- huge garden area
- the 20 m long pool ( in which you can actually and properly swim :) ) with a very spacious, partially covered terrace and also a "baby pool" just for sitting
- the 4 burner Weber gas grill
- upon request infra sauna in the garden next door ( few steps away)
- upon request seasonally hot tub in the garden next door (also a few steps away)
- you can park your 2 cars behind closed gates
- 1 extra bed upon request
Daily rate from € 300-400 depending on the season
As the house is in a residential area and we deeply respect our neighbor's peace, loud parting is strictly forbidden. We only rent out the house occasionally, so pls contact us about the dates. On very hot summer days we also use the pool to cool down, whilst bearing in mind your privacy so will try to be invisible. The pool is a bio pool, the water does not contain any chemicals and the temperature is minimum 23 celsius degrees. Surroundings:
Budajenő is a charming little village not far away from Budapest, with app. 2500 residents. Situated on the edge of the Hills of Buda and the Zsámbék Basin, the village offers not only some historical sites to visit, but also astonishing views and several hiking routes. What to see and do around here:
- Budapest is 40 mins drive away with lots of possibilities
- Visit the church ruins in Zsámbék
- Take a hike to the Csergezán Pál lookout
- Check out the wine cellars not only in Budajenő but also in Páty
- Hike up to the Nyakas-kő in Biatorbágy
- Check out the Sándor-Metternich castle in Bajna
- Visit the arboretum in Alcsút
Or just take a glass of wine beside the pool and enjoy the panorama. :)
