ᴄᴜʀᴀᴛᴇᴅ ᴡɪᴛʜ ʟᴏᴠᴇ ʙʏ ᴄʟᴀʀᴋ: Our favorite Architect: Anthony Gall
Anthony Gall, Australian-born, Ybl Prize-winning architect, is the creative mind behind the design of Hotel Clark Budapest. His work is defined by a clear architectural philosophy: designing buildings that respond sensitively to their surroundings while maintaining a strong contemporary identity.
At Clark Ádám Square, he transformed one of Budapest’s most challenging urban sites into a distinctive curved form, where proportion, rhythm, and context shape every detail of the building. The result is a landmark that feels both bold and deeply connected to the city it belongs to.

ᴄᴜʀᴀᴛᴇᴅ ᴡɪᴛʜ ʟᴏᴠᴇ ʙʏ ᴄʟᴀʀᴋ: Our favorite dish: Leo signature mini burgers 🍔

A signature that truly lives up to its name — Leo’s mini burgers are on the menu from the very start of the day at Leo Rooftop Budapest, and you can also enjoy them during Leo Bistro’s Weekend Brunch. The bigger “sibling” version is available as part of Midday Bites, and yes — you can even order it via room service.
With Angus beef patty, cheddar, coleslaw, baby romaine, and a hint of spiced mayo, all wrapped in Leo’s house-made buns, they’re a go-to for any occasion. Also available in a vegetarian version — because great taste should be for everyone.

Welcome back to 'Clark Curiosities' — where hidden tales of Budapest come to light.
This May, we’re turning our attention to Lánchíd utca, the historic street stretching along the Buda side of the Danube. Once part of the old riverside route connecting trade and transport, the street gained its name from the iconic Széchenyi Chain Bridge in the mid-19th century, reflecting its growing importance as a gateway between Buda and Pest.
Over time, Lánchíd utca evolved into a vibrant urban corridor, shaped by grand buildings, cultural institutions, and the rhythm of the river itself. Today, it remains a quiet yet essential thread in the city’s fabric — where history, architecture, and everyday life meet.

ᴄᴜʀᴀᴛᴇᴅ ᴡɪᴛʜ ʟᴏᴠᴇ ʙʏ ᴄʟᴀʀᴋ: Our favorite Hungarian choreographer, Grecsó Zoltán

A defining figure of Hungary’s contemporary dance scene, Grecsó Zoltán works with structured improvisation and real-time composition, where movement emerges through continuous decision-making, presence, and connection. As founder of the Willany Leó Improvisational Dance Theatre, he has developed an open score practice that places the body not only at the center of expression, but at the core of perception and thinking.

In a unique collaboration with Hotel Clark Budapest, Zoltán moved through light and space — his dance unfolding as a living dialogue between motion and architecture. Each step, each reflection, each fleeting moment reveals how space is not only a backdrop, but an active partner in shaping experience.

This is your reminder that “staying in” hits differently when your Clark Suite comes with a front-row seat to Budapest.
Somewhere between the skyline views, the quiet luxury of your suite, and the slight temptation to never leave, you might forget your actual plans — and honestly, that’s kind of the point. Think you could get used to this view? Experience it at Hotel Clark Budapest.

ᴄᴜʀᴀᴛᴇᴅ ᴡɪᴛʜ ʟᴏᴠᴇ ʙʏ ᴄʟᴀʀᴋ: Our favorite building: Műcsarnok / Kunsthalle
Located on Heroes’ Square, the Műcsarnok is one of Budapest’s most significant examples of historicist architecture. It was completed in 1896, during the millennial celebrations marking Hungary’s 1000-year anniversary, and was designed as a monumental space dedicated entirely to the fine arts. Its grand neo-classical façade, with its symmetrical structure and sculptural details, reflects the ambition of the era to elevate culture into the heart of public life.
Today, the building continues its original purpose as a leading exhibition hall, hosting contemporary and classical art while preserving its architectural integrity as a landmark of Hungarian cultural identity.
