A few minutes from Móricz Student Living, there’s a place called the Bottomless Lake (Feneketlen-tó). Is it actually bottomless? Nope. But the name definitely adds to the mystery.

It’s a chill green spot right in the middle of the city — perfect for a walk, catching up with friends, or just sitting on a bench pretending your life is a peaceful European indie film. Ducks are doing their thing, people are out running, and the whole area feels like a mini escape from lectures and deadlines.

Bonus: it’s next to Kosztolányi square, so coffee and snacks are never far.
If you haven’t taken a stroll around the lake yet… highly recommend. It’s calm, it’s close, and it’s kind of a class.

One of the best things about living at our student accommodation? You’re just a short walk from Bartók Béla street — and trust us, it’s a favourite for a reason. It’s the kind of street where you head out for a coffee and end up at an exhibition, then somehow at a tiny concert you didn’t even plan on going to.

The whole area’s packed with cafes, bars, galleries, and restaurants — plus that mix of old and modern buildings that just makes it feel like Budapest.

It’s close, it’s chill, and it never gets boring. Definitely a neighborhood where you want to live.
