We’re honoured to share that Dean’s Home Budapest has been nominated for the Az Év Irodája Awards by Az Év Irodája in the category “Az Év Közösségi Tere” (Community Space of the Year).

From the very beginning, Dean’s was imagined as more than a place to stay. As one of the first fully Hungarian-developed hybrid accommodation concepts in Central Europe, we bring together international students living long-term in Budapest and short-stay guests exploring the city - all within a thoughtfully designed, shared environment.

Our community spaces are where this idea truly comes to life: study rooms that turn into meeting points, a lobby that works as both lounge and workspace, a rooftop that hosts conversations from all over the world, and shared areas designed to encourage connection without forcing it. What matters most to us is not only how these spaces look, but how they feel - open, safe, inspiring, and genuinely lived in.

Community at Dean’s goes beyond architecture. Through events, everyday interactions, and our social and ESG initiatives, we aim to create a place where people from different cultures don’t just live next to each other, but with each other - and where this mindset extends beyond our walls into the city.
